i always wanted to be an actress

so, i hung out with this guy several months ago who happens to work at the same company as me. i won't go into the sordid details, but the evening did not go well. at all. like...at all. luckily we don't work in the same area of the building so i've only run into him a couple of times since the incident. the first time i did--which was about a month after we had hung out, he mentioned that he was really disappointed that he hadn't heard from me. oh...wait...was he THERE that night? maybe a new personality had surfaced since i last saw him (no, seriously). anyway, i mentioned i was dating someone so he wouldn't get any ideas (plus, i kind of was). i have probably run into him a total of 3, maybe 4 times since then.

so yesterday i was walking down the hall and there he was. i was opening up a door to go into a different area of the building and he stopped me for some (really lame [as always]) small talk. he asked if i was going home soon and i told him i wouldn't be leaving until about 6:30pm. then this happened:

"6:30, huh? wow, that's kind of late. should we go into one of these closets here?" and then he SMACKED MY ASS!
barf.

it was a scene from one of those cheesy sexual harrasment videos that you watch and think "people don't DO that stuff in real life". boy were WE wrong!

Dearest Becky,

Had I known you didn't want to smack your ass at work I wouldn't have done it. But you desereved it, I mean you come into work wearing that blouse that you know drives me crazy! I can't help myself, one minute I was thinking about nachos. The next minute I was thinking about going into a closet and my hand just ended up on your ass. It's so uncomfortable I know, but you gotta dress down so I won't be tempted to harass you.

Love,

The guy who smacked your ass in the hall way.

recently, i thought if i was ever really going to specialize in an area of the law i could probably have my hands full with sexual harassment claims against mormon men in utah county.

but now i am just thinking about nachos.

don't worry, everyone, i am all for being sexually harassed in more appropriate places. by people who aren't lame. but i guess that wouldn't be harassment...

once i was sexually harassed by a restaurant owner. he gave me free food to make it better. in hind sight i should have tried for some sort of intentional infliction of emotional distress claim. to make it better.

I had to practically tie my hands down that Sunday you and Nat came to church. I guess you just have that kind of posterior. Very slapable.

jefe, i will give you a free slap this coming sabbath. i think the most fitting time would be between sunday school and relief society. AFTER we've passed love notes and been stared down by creepy starey guy

him and baby prop are bros. now. They've joined forces.

thanks to your story, i was very jumpy with anybody who got near my rear today at work. i also was half tempted to slap our accountant’s butt for fun…what – she has a smackable booty

Wow.

So, he'll lose his job over this?
If not, I'm assuming you could follow future harassment with a trip to the bank.

By the way Becky, it's always appropriate to slap my buttocks. It should be a tradition among the female gender that they do it before, between or after all three meetings.

you should file a complaint. i'm serious. that totally crosses the line.

in the last six months i've been sexually harassed by this guy i sometimes ride the bus with. and it isn't funny. it's uncomfortable and scary.
